'Annapoorani,' Nayanthara's 75th film, gets a release date

Annapurnani: The Goddess of Food is an upcoming Tamil movie. Nilesh Krishnaa has directed and written it. The film stars lady superstar Nayanthara in the main lead and the rest of the cast includes Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Radin Kingsley, Achyuth Kumar, Kumari Sachu, Renuka, Karthik Kumar and Suresh Chakraborty. Female superstar Nayanthara’s 75th film is titled ‘Annapoorani- Goddess of Taste’. Thaman S has composed the music and Jatin Sethi is the producer.

The film is titled ‘Annapurnani: The Goddess of Food’ and is said to be a family entertainer with an interesting storyline. The teaser looks interesting as Nayanthara plays a liberal woman from a Brahmin family. It is said to be a female-centric film. She is immersed in books on management and economics. Annapurnani is considered the goddess of food and her name comes from the film’s title. In the teaser, Nayanthara was reading a book about food meat dish recipes in business management and belongs to a Brahmin family in the film.

Cinematography by Annapurnani is by Dinesh Krishnan, Sathyan Suryan and editing is by Praveen Antony. Annapurnani is produced under the banners of Zee Studios, Trident Arts and Naad Sstudios. Nayanthara’s last film was Jawan, Iraivan. The movie Jawan was a blockbuster hit and the upcoming movie is Test, Mannangatti.
