Music in the film is AR. Rahman has given and tweeted about Maamannan trailer. Vadivelu is playing the lead role in Maamannan.

The trailer for the movie was officially released on June 16th, and the movie is set to be released on June 29th. The release of the trailer has been postponed from June 1st to June 16th. The poster depicts Udayanidhi Stalin running with his dog.
