Sumit Kadel wrote reviewing the murder series, “#MurderInMahim starts off promisingly, offering a fresh take on the murder mystery genre by exploring social issues like sex work, class divide, and LGBTQ+ challenges. However, as the story progresses, it loses its momentum and becomes tiresome to watch. The constant back-and-forth between the main plot and the characters’ personal lives feels like a distraction, and the series ultimately fails to maintain its focus.
While the initial episodes are engaging, the overall experience leaves viewers feeling exhausted by the convoluted storyline and lack of coherence. Earnest Performances by #VijayRaaz & #AshutoshRana are the only saving grace.”
