Nathan Lyon historic achievement in Test Cricket
Nathan Lyon is an Australian cricketer who is known for being one of the country’s most successful off-spin bowlers. Lyon made his international debut for the Australian cricket team in August 2011 in a Test match against Sri Lanka. He quickly established himself as a key player in the Australian squad with his ability to generate spin and bounce on various pitches.
Nathan Lyon is the sixth batsman to have played 100 Test matches. The first is the bowler who is the 100th consecutive bowler. One of Lyon’s most notable achievements was in the 2013 Ashes Series in England, where he played a key role in Australia’s 3-0 win. Other players on the list include Alastair Cook (159), Alan Border (153), Mark Waugh (107), Sunil Gavaskar (106) and Brendon McCallum (101).
