Suriya will make a special appearance in the film Sarfira, which is inspired by the book Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey by G.R. Gopinath. The movie hit theaters on 12th July 2024, with Akshay Kumar playing the character of Veer Mhatre, who offers affordable flight options to the general public. Owner of an airline, Paresh Rawal, also known as Paresh Goswami, plays the antagonist in his conflict. Paresh Rawal turns into a hindrance in Akshay Kumar’s dream.
