Manobala is an Indian film actor and director who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. He has also acted in a few Telugu and Malayalam films. Manobala was born on 8 December 1953 in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, and passed away today. Manobala started his career in the film industry as a comedian and supporting actor in the late 1980s.
He has since then appeared in many films in various roles. Manbola’s death was due to a liver problem. Manbola has worked in Gangai Karai Paattu, Nandhini, Tik Tik Tik, Udhayan, Naai Sekar, Naai Sekar Returns, Waltair Veerayya and many movies. Besides acting, Manobala has directed several films in Tamil cinema, including “Vedikkai En Vadikkai” and “Chinna Pasanga Naanga.” He has also worked as a screenwriter and producer in the film industry. Manbola has worked in the serials Cooku with Comali (season 3), Sembaruthi, Maya, etc.
Manobala is known for his impeccable timing and versatility as an actor. He has won several awards including Best of His Comedian in the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for his role in the 2012 film “Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.” Many celebrities expressed their grief by tweeting him. Mega star Rajinikanth tweeted paying tribute to Manbola’s death.
