Pushpa 2 is one of the most awaited and anticipated film of this year. ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is the sequel to ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which proved to be a huge blockbuster. The ‘Pushpa’ prequel was a huge success at the box office in 2021 and ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is the high-budget movie that fans have been eagerly waiting for. While wishing Pushpa’s director and writer Sukumar on his birthday, the makers have confirmed the release date of Pushpa 2.

Sukumar has given the Indian film industry many super hit films like Arya, Arya 2, Pushpa: The Rise, Rangasthalam and others. Virupaksh, released in the year 2023, did great business at the box office, in which Sukumar was the producer.
There was a rumor going on for a long time that the release date of the film will be postponed, but today the makers have confirmed it. Both ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Singham 3’ are scheduled to release in theaters on the same day Independence Day, making both the films one of the biggest films of this 2024 year. Although ‘Pushpa 2’ is a high-budget film and ‘Singham 3’ is a multi-starrer film, the excitement and expectations of fans are high to watch this mega clash.
The movie ‘Singham 3’ stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, while on the other hand Pushpa 2 has Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj. The first installment of Pushpa was made on a budget of ₹200–250 crores, and collected ₹360–373 crore at the box office.
