WWE Smackdown News: The Usos Interrupted Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman
WWE SmackDown begins with promos from Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Jey Uso comes in and interrupts Paul Heyman. Jay was very angry. Jey Uso and Paul Heyman, alone, get into a heated argument. Paul Heyman tries to shake hands with Jey, but Jey Uso ignores him and walks away.
Santos Escobar vs Mustafa Ali
Santos Escobar and Mustafa Ali had a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifier match. Santos Escobar enters with Rey Mysterio. LA Knight also enters the ring. Both chop each other and both hit back with their moves. The winner played in the Money in the Bank match and the winner challenged for the WWE Championship. Santos Escobar hits the Escobar Avalanche Phantom Driver to win the match.
Bayley vs “Michin” Mia Yim
A Money in the Bank qualifying match will take place between Bayley and “Mitchin” Mia Yim. AJ Style is at the commentary table. Something weird happened in the match where Karrion Kross attacks AJ Styles. Bayley defeated Mia Yim to qualify for Money in the Bank. Today the new version of the Women’s Championship was revealed. Asuka gets overjoyed and Charlotte Flair comes to the ring. Charlotte Flair came to the ring and attacked Asuka.
Butch vs. Baron Corbin
Butch and Baron Corbin had a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifier match. Trick Williams and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes were available at ringside. Baron Corbin has already won Money in the Bank. Pete “Butch” Dunne won the match via legscissors cradle.
IYO SKY vs Shotzi Blackheart
The Money in the Bank qualifying match was between IYO SKY vs Shotzi Blackheart. IYO SKY hits the Moonsault to win the match.
Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory (US Championship)
There is a match between Jey Uso and Austin Theory for the United States Championship Match. Jey Uso starts off well and throws Austin Theory onto the commentary table. The match was going well but Pretty Deadly came to the ring and attacked Jay. Then Jimmy Uso comes and throws Pretty Deadly out of the ring. Solo Sikoa comes and attacks Jimmy Uso, but Jey Uso throws Solo Sikoa out of the ring. Austin Theory wins the match with a lateral press. Nothing is going right between the usos either.
